While we have raised more than $485,000 towards our goal of $500,000...$14,781 remains to be raised to close this fundraising round and turn our attention to construction.
Each gift we receive makes the next gift just a little easier to find. Now it's time to connect with everyone we know who hasn't given to close the gap and make Phase 1 a reality. As they say, the hardest part of a capital campaign is raising the last 20%. No one even talks about raising the last 3%!
We were hoping to close this fundraising round on March 1st. We knew that our timeline was ambitious, but the truth is, that if we can't raise the remaining $14.7K this week, our project can't go out to bid and we can expect delays stretching into the fall, potentially disrupting our ability to reopen our facility next school year.
